Parma Eldalamberon ... The Book of Elven Tongues ... is a journal of linguistic studies of fantasy literature, especially of the Elvish languages and nomenclature in the works of J.R.R. Tolkien. It is published at irregular intervals as sufficient material becomes available.
By special arrangement with Christopher Tolkien and with the permission of the Tolkien Estate, previously unpublished material from the manuscripts of J.R.R. Tolkien have been published as special editions of Parma Eldalamberon.
i Lam na Ngoldathan ... The Grammar and Lexicon of the Gnomish Tongue by J.R.R.Tolkien ... was published as Parma Eldalamberon No. 11 (1995) .
Qenyaqetsa ... The Qenya Phonology and Lexicon together with the Poetic and Mythologic Words of Eldarissa by J.R.R.Tolkien ... was published as Parma Eldalamberon No. 12 (1998). Both are currently out of stock.
These special editions were edited by Christopher Gilson, Carl F. Hostetter, Patrick Wynne and Arden Smith with the guidance and direction of Christopher Tolkien who personally provided the editors with copies of his father's work and detailed notes regarding the manuscripts.
