(to)Hi Kim, Finally I (re)found your website! I wrote the address down
ages ago in an old agenda. Forgot all about it. Being disappointed that
I can't find anything of your beautifull music in the dutch shops, I was
delighted to find this website address in my old journal! I'm an artist/painter.
Endlessly inpired by celtic music, especially by yours and from Loreena
McKennitt. The timelessness in the ancient music, the love and joy. Making
big oil-paintings based on this celtic feelings (using the english nature
as a subject aswell) I always listen to your music non-stop. It connects
me back to my 'source'. Therefore I find it a pitty that I cannot find
your music in the shops here! I hope to find the time to come to one of
your appearences one day. I'm looking forward to it allready. Good luck,

I play a lot of your music on my harp....Tina was my teacher for years...I
was at a workshop you and she did, but had to leave because my husband
got sick at home with our four year old and a big blizzard was coming.
I am now making my first CD, mostly original compositions. I agree with
everything you said in the interview I just read. I improvise everyday
and treat it as a spiritual practice. Thank you for all your good work.
I met you at the harp conference, where I was in charge of exhibitors and
vendors, in Burlington in 1994 or so.

Kim, I am originally from St. Paul and lived in Eau Claire for 14 years.
I saw you last spring at Dusty Springs for a short concert. I love your
music..thankyou for your deovotion to the instrument and the music. I have
a request for information. I now live in Port Townsend, Washington (I am
doing hand therapy for David Michael!!) however I have a very good friend
who is currently visiting her mother in Thief River Falls, Minnesota. Her
mother is dying of Cancer. Do you know of any graduates of either MHP or
the Chalice of Repose who could play live music, bedside for Rachel and
her family. My younger sister died of Breast Cancer in 1998. We had Jeri
Howe play for her the last 45 minutes of her life. It was so profound.
I have no connections for this in Minnesota. Can you help or refer someone
to me? Thank you in advance. Carol

Hello Kim, perhaps you remember the celtic harp days in "Schloß
Burg". Unfortunately we didn't continue these activities. The reason was,
that I divorced from my husband, Tom married again and got some more very
nice children, Anne moved to Munich. And so it was the consequence to stop
financal danger. But meanwhile things changed completely. Now Tom is settled
in Solingen and very happy, Anne married an african "Tuareg" an I now live
together with Ralf Schuh, the Bodhran player, very happy in the house, which
my parents have built for "me", when I was a child. We have a lot of space
to make music and have many guests. So the idea was born to work as freelances
of music, internet-service and office-service. In this context we look
for all ever contacted persons, especially with "E-Mail"-address to get
in contact again. I am very glad to get the possibility of contacting you
via "guestbook", because it would be nice to meet you again --- perhaps
by arranging some concert-dates for you arround Cologne. If you are interested
in any further contact, please send e-mail to "volperthing@gmx.de" Sincerely
yours, Petra Cichy

Kim Robertson's music . . Nice thanks for the byte. Yes, I might go
out and buy a CD. Except no one carries them. around me. 'Sides I am just
turning 51 and Loreena McKennitt stole my life. Well . . she didn't, only
a bit player in that but she and her kind did and now there is no more
Santa Claus. I hope you never understand what I said. God Damned the Pusher.
Goddess too for that matter. What was Sparrow singin' of . . Drug Dealers
or WAS IT Psi Ops - ELF/ELM weapons. The lie by which we will never know
the truth of it all. Anyways, I rant "and the hour is getting late". We
are all but little mirrors of their Grace and Glory. Thanks to Them for
letting a little shine through you to me and the "C". Deep Peace to Thee.

Dear Kim, First greetings ... first pls know that during a changing
period of my life, a wind chime called me into a bookstore ... and inside
your beautiful music fed my heart and began supporting a passionate interest
in "new age" music and my internally unfolding path ... thank you ... I
can sure understand the 'angel part' around you. My Soul Sister Bettina
Clemen might have mentioned me to you. I'm the environmental scientist
with those burning soul path environmental projects underway. I use my
innate photography talent as one tool in this (portfolio: http://community.webshots.com/user/photoartistry).
Another is now music ... I have been working on a music collection projects
as outreach tools. I have one where we might like to use the title song
"Love Song to a Planet" in it. But to test it in the CD master sequence,
I need a copy. Do you still have one available? Thanks much & blessings

I'm a singer/songwriter currently looking for a record/publishing deal.I
feel that my style of music has more chance of success in the states than
in the uk,mainly because the states has a wider listening audince and doesn't
just cater for kids. My songs are commercial with strong powerful vocals.
The ballad side is my main strength. Please feel free to look at the web

I have only recently been exposed to Kim's music, but I absolutely love
it. I heard her first on an episode of Beverly Hills 90210, and since then
I have been trying to figure out what song it was that she played on that
episode. If anyone can help me, I would love to hear back from you.

I was just browsing through some old books of mine, and found An Introduction
to Elvish. I thought I'd see if it is still being studied, so I started
searching the web. And here I am, at a site belonging to one of the contributors
to that old green book. I'm not a big fan of harping, but I was always
a big fan of Gil-galad, of whom the harpers sadly sang. Darn that Necromancer,
anyway. I also admire the artwork of Patrick Wynne, whose work I remember
from the old fan magazine, Minas Tirith Evening Star. "Elen sila lumenn'
omentielvo!" Famous last words: "Mutton yesterday, mutton today, and blimey
if it don't look like mutton again tomorrer!"

Hi Dan, Tom and Maryknollers, Mike Woods just gave us the wonderful
Intranet go ahead and in teaching us the works of it, used your Page as
an example. I can't believe how great the Intranet will be and how helpful
to our ConEd work. Your Los Altos home is absolutely gorgeous. So nice
to see the place I've written to for years. Dan, I hear you are quite the

God Bless you and your music! I am 15 years old and I love music. I
play church organ, virginal,Appalacian dulcimer, and am a member in our church
ensemble at First Baptist of Arley. I compose music in Rennassaince-Baroque
style for church, keyboard, and small ensembles. I have just recently became
interested in the Celtic harp because of my heritage(my ancestery is from
Cornwall), the frequent mention of the harp in the Bible, and because it
is such a beautiful instrument. I feel spiritual drawn to it,like God the
Father wills me to play it and praise Him upon it. My parents have consented
to purchase one for me. God Bless you again for your influence. I will
be praying for you. God Bless you again!

This is for Adam Christensen: Hi!!! I hope this is your right address.
We're actually mailing you in hopes that you can bail Joanna and I out
of deep water with Donny. We (I) managed to lose this piece of paper in
the guitar case of Donny's old EKO 12 string that had the tuning you showed
him based upon Robbie Basho's tuning. Maybe you can send all of the tunings
you remember from the 70's and one of them will be Donny's. He wrote a
bunch of songs based upon this tuning. Eeeeek!!! Donny and Joanna have
created a real primo recording studio at their home in the holler. We're
working on producing these extraordinary songs that Joanna and Donny have
written. Amazing stuff! Hope your doing wellwellwell. Send your contact
numbers to Donny and Joanna. Phone 323-257-3379 My e-mail has changed to

Kim Robertson- I've been living here in Ireland now for about five years.
I have my own recording studio and I've been very busy recording lots of
traditional music, as well as my own stuff. Have you ever been over here
to Ireland? Do you have any plans for touring in Europe? If you ever want
to do any recording I've got a great old 36 string Rydecki harp (and a
36 string Dusty Strings) here, and I would love to put on a few concerts
for you. I do a concert series here every year in an old stone church.

the Butterfly". My question is whether the arrangements of these two tunes
are available? If they are available, where can th ey be acquired? The
"Tender Shepard" arrangement is particularly exciting as it already has
chime parts that we know blend so well with bells. Thank you for your help
and we like your music.

Hi Kim, I attended the folk harp school in Wells, B.C. last summer and
enjoyed it very much. I would like to know if the the songs from your Celtic
Harp Solos book have been recorded. I am learning to play some of them
and would very much li ke to hear them played. In particular, Bittersweet
II, Separation of Soul from the Body and Carolan's Dream. Have you recorded
them? Thanks.

My experience with harping: Director of Harp Studies at Elizabeth High
School for the Performing Arts in Elizabeth, New Jersey and harp instructor
at New Jersey Workshop for the Arts in Westfield, New Jersey. I have a
total of 23 students who perform on 2 Salvi pedal harps, 2 Lyon & Healy
Irish harps and 22 lap harps made in Pakistan. I have your harp book of
Christmas music and really like the arrangements. They are very well arranged
and when performed, have a rich quality to them! Eight of my high school
harp students perform ed your arrangement of "Sheep May Safely Graze" for
their Holiday Concert last December. They loved playing it and were very
eager to practice it everyday. Next season, I would like to try "Greensleeves"
or another selection from the same book. Would y ou consider coming to
our school to have a workshop? The students as well as myself would be
thrilled. Please let me know if you do this sort of thing. Thanks!

1/10/98 Dear Kim, Your music is the most beautiful harp music I have
ever heard. Chelsea my daughter and I have all of your CD's! We just purchased
a Dusty Strings FH-36S, but Chelsea has been playing a scaled down Celtic
harp for over 3 years! We also have a Hammered Dulcimer! As Chelsea said,
we think you are very very pretty! Your husband is very very lucky! The
harp has been one of the things that has kept me from being lonely after
a very sad divorce 5 yrs ago. We also like Joemy Wilson, Patric Ball, Terese
Sheker, and Margie Butler, Carrie Crompton, but CHELSEA LOVES YOUR MUSIC
BEST!!! Take care Kim, and we wish you the best! We really like Wood, Fire,
and Gold!!! Chelsea has a book called "GWINNA", by Barbara Berger, and
it is her favorite book!!! We noticed that one chapter is called "Wood,
Fire, and Gold"!! I hope you have read this book. In fact, I know somehow
that you have! There is some mystical attraction to Celtic music that attracts
both Chelsea and myself. Perhaps, it is a universal feeling that the music
evokes in us all! Happy new Year, and keep playing and making CD's!!! PS
Tender Shepherd is lovely. Chel especially loves Lovesong for a planet!

01/10/98 Dear Kim, Your music is the BEST!!!! I am 8 years old and I

Dulcimer and the Bowed Psaltery, and I also have a lyre! I really like
playing instruments! I have a tambourine too and a keyboard at my mom's
house! My harp, dulcimer, and lyre are at Dad's house. You are the best
music in the world! You are VERY VERY PRETTY! Do you have brothers or sisters?
I have a love-bird at my dad's house! I have a dog, fish, and a canary
at my mom's house. I am just learning to skate too. My best friends at
school are Danielle, Samantha M, Rachel, and my teacher! Her name is Mrs.
MaCallister. Dad and me have ALL of your CD's! I love them better than
anyone! I go to bed at 8:30 pm on school nights, but tonight is Saturday

you can E-mail me someday!!! Sincerely, Chelsea Noller

peek. I'll have to devote some serious exploration time here I can tell.
Talk to you soon! Hope you had a wonderful holiday season. Hey, are you
going to the Patrick Ball concert at the Flint Center in Cupertino? Regards,
Leslie

I was lucky enough to see Kim in concert here in Abbotsford about 4
years ago. Last May I purchased my own Celtic harp and am now taking lessons
- it is slow going but such a stress reliever. I will soon be moving to
Ontario - any tips on harp moving? I am as concerned about moving it as
I am about moving my pets. Thanks.

Kim is an awesome harp player. A true inspiration. Her playing is why
I built a harp and I am now learing to play it. Thank you. Bill

and Qenya languages. Tolkien was a genious. Oh, if anyone knows of a good
source for Quenya grammar, contact me. Oh, if anyone knows of any good
Elvish poem sites, tell me about them. Qapla'!! lcnbriw@computer-connection.net

This is certainly one of the loveliest web pages that
I have ever seen. It completely reflects the care and
attention to aesthetic detail that I have seen in the
hard copy of Parma Eldalamberon. I know that I will
return to this page time and again.

Hi guys! *Beautiful* pages! All I can wish is that a) I had more time
to just browse through everything, and b) that my machine here was a little
quicker to download all of these gorgeous images and fascinating links...
thank you for a wonderful haven in the midst of web frantic-ness!!

Aiya ar mai omentaina, Quendili! (That's you guys
and me, so that's essentially dual.)
I got to know about your site after Adam's announcement
about Chris' translation of "Annie's Song" by John Denver.
Not bad, BTW, although you were not consistent about your
q's and qu's at the end. I am currently compiling my own
Quenya-English dictionary based on meta-historical prin-
ples (so some of it is rather conjectural) with the inten-
tion of putting it in somebody else's website or creating
my own. What do you think guys?
One final word: I think your site is cooool!!! :-)
